A professional birth photographer will know how to capture the angles, the lighting, and the moments in a way that is respectful and genuine. My goal is to document your story in all its glory. You, your loved ones, your birth team, and your incredible courage and power that brought your child to your arms are all an important part of your story.

Hiring a birth photographer also allows for everyone to be present, in the moment, without having to worry about capturing the first pictures of your precious new addition.

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to book the month of your due date. You can then pay the balance as you wish (weekly, monthly, or in full). The total session must be fully paid by 1 week before your due date.

Book your birth package as early into your pregnancy as you would like! Ideally, you would want to book me at or before the halfway mark of your pregnancy. This ensures that I do not plan any conflicting events during the month, and especially within 2-3 weeks of your expected due date.

Contact me as soon as you know you are in labor. This allows me to make sure I can get childcare for my kids and tie up anything I am in the middle of. It is never too early to call me, even in the middle of the night. I want to get there when you are in transition, so we will stay in touch to ensure I arrive in time to capture the end of your labor and the birth. You may also opt to give me your primary support person's phone number (spouse, doula, family member, etc).

As your birth photographer, I plan to show up when you are at the transition phase (8-10cm dilated). I stay during the final phase of labor, delivery, and after the birth for post delivery shots of the newborn checks, meeting family members, first feeding, skin to skin time, etc.

I photograph with purpose. I may use a constant light on my camera; however, I am careful about when to use it. If you prefer not to have it, please let me know, and I can photograph without it.

I am passionate about capturing your life-changing event, and will do everything I can to avoid missing the birth. I have a backup photographer in case I am unable to attend the birth, and if the backup photographer is also unable to make it, the payment for the birth package will either turn into a Newborn / Family Session, or you will receive a refund (the non-refundable deposit may be applied to a different session in the future).
